Abstract

SARS- CoV-2 is a member of the family of coronaviruses. The first cases were recorded in Wuhan, China, betw een December 2019 and January 2020. Italy is one of the most affected countries in Europe. COV ID-19 has as its etiologic agent the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus, unfortunately spreading globally, resulting in the 2019 – 2020 pandemic, as declared by  the  World Health Organization ( WHO) and the Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC). The infection started in As ia, but it has rapidly spread across the w orld, Dentists are often the first line of healthcare w orker are primary responses for these lesion, as they w ork in close contact w ith patients. the w hole dental teams should be vigilant and keep patients and themselves in a safe environment by follow ing the guideline from WHO.
